Description
This is a one-of-a-kind wooden sprite standee of a precious Yoshi hatchling. This lil' green baby is based off of the sprite than can be seen in the Nintendo and GameFreak's 1991 NES puzzle game Yoshi (aka. Yoshi's Egg [Japan] or Mario & Yoshi [Europe & Australia]). He stands about 7.5 inches tall, and is 7.5" inches wide from the tip of his nose to his stubby tale.
Acrylic paint on wood.
My Wooden Sprite Standees are built block-by-block out of 1/2" wooden cubes. Each character is hand painted using high-quality artist grade acrylic paints. Finally, the standee is covered with several coats of varnish to protect it from light & damage, and to keep its colors looking vibrant. The back of the sprite is left black so that it can be turned around and presented as a unique pixel silhouette. Wooden supports with rubber feet are built into the standee's structure to ensure that it will stand well on any flat, level surface.
